So You Wanna Be A Choreographer?

Beloved HITS dance teacher Ms. Dana will guide students in Grades 6-12 into the world of choreography and stage movement as it applies to Musical Theater in a variety of styles. Students will collaborate, create, and perform original pieces of choreography, exploring storytelling through dance.

The class will culminate with a showing of the students’ pieces for friends and family on the last class day.

PREREQUISITE:

Two years of dance training is required to register for this class. Special exceptions may be allowed with instructor approval prior to registration.

DATES/TIMES:

Wednesdays

7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

January 6 - March 10, 2021

ATTIRE:

Clothes that make you feel comfortable and confident that you can move in. Closed toe shoes and face masks required.

HEALTH/SAFETY:
All students will be required to arrive wearing a cloth face mask covering their mouth and nose and closed-toed shoes. No-touch thermometers will ensure students’ temperatures are below 100-degrees before being allowed to enter the building. Students will be required to adhere to all safety procedures and practice social distancing at all possible times. HITS Theatre reserves the right to refuse entry or dismiss anyone who does not adhere to theater policies.
