Exploring Musical Theater (Grades K-2)

For students in Grades K-2, this class is a wonderful way to introduce your child to the world of theatre, develop skills, and prepare for stage performances in a fun, nurturing environment. In this class, students improve motor-skills and flex their creative muscles through a variety of theatrical games and will learn a song and dance routine from musical theater.

Every week, students apply their imaginations so they can perform with confidence, participate collaboratively, and enhance problem-solving abilities though acting, singing, and dancing.

10:00-11:00 a.m.

Family observation day / Last day of class: Saturday, November 12 from 10:00-11:00 a.m.

TUITION:
$200 Early Registration through August 15 (Full payment must be received by deadline to receive discount.)
$225 Tuition starting August 16
$25.00 Annual Registration Fee per family account begins Fall 2022 – Summer 2023

ATTENDANCE POLICY:
Please notify HITS Theatre of any known conflicts with the schedule prior to the first day of class. HITS understands life brings surprises and new conflicts may arise. ATTIRE:
Comfortable clothing that allows movement, but is not distracting. Closed-toed shoes with rubber soles. Jazz shoes are recommended.

HEALTH/SAFETY:

Prerequisite: None

No previous experience is required.

There is also no prerequisite classes, but all new students and first-time theater students are required to register or complete this class in order to participate in a HITS Theatre production. This class can be taken in conjunction with a K - 3rd-grade production class.

All registrations are subject to approval by the Artistic Director.
